I like the super-high-contrast look sometimes, it can have a unique an fun appeal to an image. It’s simple and minimalistic and modern.

I worry that sometimes it feels over-processed, but digital photography is part camera and part processing. Even film had to be developed, and the “dodge” and “burn” tools of Photoshop are named for their film equivalents.

I’m going to put another one in this style up on Friday.

ISO 400, 70mm, f/5.6, 1/1000th.

Lens note: I find the 70-200mm f4L IS to be ideally sharp at 5.6.
